How Much Does TikTok Pay in 2026?
TikTok's Creator Rewards Program (which replaced the original Creator Fund in 2023) pays eligible creators approximately $0.40–$0.80 per 1,000 qualified views. This is a significant improvement over the old fund which paid only $0.02–$0.04 per 1,000 views. However, views must meet quality criteria to qualify.
Requirements for Creator Rewards Program
To qualify, you need: 10,000+ followers, 100,000+ video views in the last 30 days, account age 30+ days, be 18 or older, based in an eligible country, and post original content at least 1 minute long. Short videos under 1 minute do not qualify for the Rewards Program.
Why Brand Deals Matter More
Like YouTube, the Creator Rewards Program is rarely the primary income source for successful TikTok creators. Brand deals, affiliate commissions from TikTok Shop, merchandise sales, and cross-platform revenue (YouTube, Patreon, courses) typically generate 3–10x more than platform ad revenue. Focus on building an engaged niche audience to attract brand partnerships.
